Why isn’t windows movie maker importing my videos?

I’m trying to edit a video that me and my friends made on windows movie maker but it won’t import? Does anyone know how i can make it import or help me on finding another way to edit my video?

you should convert the video to WMV, thats the file that most supported by movie maker.
you should have WMV converter.
it can also support some of MPEG, AVI,
