What is the central theme of the novel or movie Coraline? Please helP!

I’ve only seen the movie, but it was fantastic. I would say that the central theme is to be grateful for what you’ve been given, OR if it feels too good to be true it probably is. You could also go with don’t trust strangers, but that’s a little eh.

Hated that movie. Wouldn’t have watched the whole thing if I hadn’t already paid for it. I’d say the central theme was ’shrooms.

I read the book and saw the movie. They were both good.
The central theme was pretty much, "There is no place like home. Don’t try to change who you are or where you come from."
That’s what I got out of it.
