Trying to find out about an animated Holloween movie, can anyone help me out?

It’s about a bunch of kids that get taken around the world by some magical stranger and learn all about how different people celebrate Holloween. When watching it as a kid, it didn’t come off as educational, just enjoyable. It probably came out in the early 90s, and I think I saw it on TV then. I didn’t get the impression that it had been in the theaters. Any help on title, or does anyone know what I might be talking about?
The story may have cetralized around a large tree, not certain about that, just randomly caught a mental glimpse of that.
