Whats that movie that was on adult swim..?

A rather long time ago Adult Swim played a movie and I can't figure out which one it was! It was anime. The name started with a K. It was about this group of kids who went into this strange dark place. I also remember there being the traditional japanese mask of a fox. Any help? Please! Thank you. =]

they played it in october of 2005 , i think
i definitely know it was in october
